Bruce Springsteen To Join Dropkick Murphys At Historic Fenway Concert

Dropkick Murphys will perform a historic live-streamed concert from Boston's Fenway Park for free on May 29 at 6 p.m. ET with Bruce Springsteen joining them for two songs.

Not only will the concert be the first one at Fenway to take place within an empty stadium, the punk band will also be the first band in history to perform within the infield diamond.

Since no audience can come to the ballpark, Dropkick Murphys invited fans to take part in the show with their "rowdy kids and neighbors right from your own living room or backyard."

The 'Streaming Outta Fenway' concert is being made a reality by Boston tech company Pegasystems. It's all serving as a fundraiser for the Boston Resiliency Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America.

"These organizations put their donations to work now — to help real people in need," said the band.

Springsteen and Dropkick Murphys have collaborated numerous times in the past. Murphys featured Springsteen on their cover of "Peg O' My Heart" on their 2011 album Going Out in Style.

In 2013, Springsteen and Dropkick Murphy's recorded "Rose Tattoo" together to raise money for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
